Prom

My Prom was two days ago. I'm not one for the cheesy American tradition -I hate the Prom King and Queen thing- but I love dressing up. I panicked all day since I helped organize the night but it all worked out perfectly. I really enjoyed and I'm going to remember the day forever as one of my happiest days. (I know, I know it's tres cliche!).

The last picture is of me, my best friend and her boyfriend. I helped dress her boyfriend since I'm his 'Trinny and Susannah' although I'd rather change my title to Gok Wan. Partly because he's better and nicer and partly because I love him and would love if he was my gay best friend.

Nadal may have won Wimbledon but Federer won it for me

I’m not a sports fan but like every other Brit I tune in to watch Wimbledon every year. I try and catch the exciting matches, the ones full of drama and tension. My dad told me I only like the theatre of sport and I think he’s right. Calling yesterdays match dramatic would be an understatement. I loved watching it and that’s saying something coming from someone who hates sitting through hours of sport.

What struck me most about the game was the fashion. Federer definitely had the upper hand in the style stakes. I’m not a follower of mens' fashion but if boys start wearing cardigans like Federer I may just fall in love with them all. I liked the school boy look of it, like he was some cricket playing public school boy.

Reasons why Federer was fashionable

  • His hair is perfectly messy and looks gorgeous with a headband
  • His shirt was crisp and clean
  • His facial features are perfectly chiseled, setting off his outfit
  • He's tanned, but not too tanned
  • He proves you don't have to be muscly to be amazing
  • Gavin Rossdale (Gwen Stefani's husband) is a huge fan

So Federer may have lost to the sexy Spaniard but he proved to be stylish throughout the tournament and gracefully took second place (well, almost).

GFW Education Day

Yesterday I travelled to London to Graduate Fashion Week's first Education Day. It was aimed at students between 14 and 18 and since I'd just finished my exams the day before it was perfect.

I managed to win the tickets so was more than happy to make the trip up. It was slightly disappointing since there weren't enough stalls to occupy me for than about an hour. The ones I did see helped me a lot, the fashion journalism course at Epsom sounds just perfect for me.

My friend and I then navigated the tube system and got some shopping in at Oxford Street and Carnaby Street before going home. I bought my self a new bag and didn't care that my dad complained about it, it was a treat to myself.

I'd like to thank the two people on the bus who attempted to help us. I don't know your names and wish I did you were so amazing. You were off to the Isle of Wight festival so if you read these let me know who you are and how it went.

Spread the love on toast x

Bismal bank holiday

I suppose introductions are needed, I'm Miss. Print.

Since I've been in a bored state all day I decided to compose a list of my men of the moment currently 'in my life'. When I say in my life I mean on the screen, I have no man.

3 Men that make me giddy

  • Mr Simon Amstell - I saw him a few weeks ago at a stand up (finally!). I'm currently searching for a gay best friend and I only wish they were as cool as this guy. And nothing can compare to his gorgeous curly locks and cute cardigans.
  • Dr Spencer Reid - I am obsessed with this nerdy character from Criminal Minds. His satchel makes me swoon as does his voice and his cute mannerisms. Irresistibly geek!
  • Mr Greg James - I only a few minutes ago realized how cute the early morning presenter is. I wish I could be up early enough to listen to him all the time not just when he's covering for someone at a suitable hour.
Care to share your 3 undeniably amazing men with me? I'd be happy to find a new obsession.
